Senior LevelOptomi is looking for a Senior Amazon Connect / Agentic AI Engineer to support highly technical, AI-driven contact center initiatives. This role involves designing, building, and troubleshooting advanced Amazon Connect solutions while integrating AI technologies and conversational workflows.

Responsibilities
Design, build, and support Amazon Connect solutions with AI-driven IVR and conversational workflows
Develop and integrate Amazon Lex bots within Amazon Connect environments
Implement and support agentic AI solutions for call center and voice-based use cases
Troubleshoot complex issues involving Amazon Connect and Salesforce Service Cloud Voice integrations
Work hands-on with AWS AI services, including Bedrock, Nova Sonics, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Write and maintain backend logic using Python, primarily for AWS Lambda–based integrations
Qualification
Required
Senior-level expertise with Amazon Connect, including real-world, production experience
Strong experience integrating Amazon Connect with AI and conversational IVR systems
Hands-on experience with Amazon Lex (bot development, intent design, integrations)
Proficiency in Python for backend development and AWS integrations
Experience working with AI models and services, such as: AWS Bedrock, Agentic AI frameworks, and Model Context Protocol (MCP)
Proven ability to troubleshoot complex, multi-platform issues, especially involving Amazon Connect and Salesforce Service Cloud Voice
Preferred
Experience with Nova Sonics
