New Grad, Entry LevelGemini Group, Inc. is seeking an Operator to pack quality plastic parts into appropriately sized containers. The role involves inspecting production parts, packaging, and ensuring documentation for traceability purposes.

Responsibilities
Visually inspect and compare production parts with sample parts to assure defect-free products within established production standards
Label cartons
Package a specified number of defect-free parts in an appropriately sized and labeled container and place on a skid, in accordance with packaging specifications to prevent damage when shipping
Retrieve all documents for the production runs and return to proper files when complete
Use of computer for tracking production and labor
Complete required charting, tracking on the computer system, and documentation of production parts for traceability purposes
Perform secondary production operations and reworking of parts, and fill out related documents
Set the puller speed setting when changing jobs
Grind scrap plastic while the line is being set-up for production
Assist Process Tech in X & R Charting when necessary
Complete water charting
Perform production order sign-off responsibility
Return sample part and compare with first/last piece
Qualify bow and length after preliminary cooling
Follow lockout procedures
Perform length or slug capability studies
Perform daily caliper audit for team members – rotating responsibility monthly
Proper handling of recycle material
Proper spill clean up procedures
General housekeeping
Assist Process Tech in un-jamming of machinery/ ensure lines keeps running
Qualification
Required
Ability to perform repetitive tasks
High School diploma or equivalent
Motor coordination, manual & finger dexterity
