Social Media Outreach Coordinator
Associated Students of San Francisco State University is the official voice of the students, and they are seeking a Social Media Outreach Coordinator to manage their social media accounts and engage with the student community. The role involves developing social media campaigns, coordinating outreach goals, and analyzing campaign performance.

Responsibilities
Manage the main social media accounts for the Associated Students, including Instagram, TikTok, Facebook, LinkedIn, Threads, Twitter, and YouTube
Work with the Project Manager to develop, plan, and execute social media campaigns that align with organizational goals and engage the SFSU student community
Work closely with the Project Manager & project teams to coordinate outreach goals and align content schedule with current projects list
Collaborate with Content Creation Specialists to create a posting and filming schedule that supports content strategy
Monitor and manage comments, direct messages, and other community interactions to maintain a positive online presence
Write engaging and on-brand captions for social media posts
Keep Instagram highlights current and up to date, manage Instagram stories, and update Linktree/Link In Bio as needed
Track and analyze the performance of social media campaigns and content, providing regular reports to the Project Manager
Stay informed about social media trends, platform updates, and industry best practices
Work with the Design Coordinator to ensure that all social media activities align with the organization's branding and strategic objectives
Provide training and guidance to interns and new team members on social media best practices
Perform other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Must be a currently enrolled SFSU student with a minimum of 6 units for undergraduates or 4 units for graduates
Strong communication skills, well-organized, and detail-oriented
Must have excellent writing, grammar and proofreading skills
Must be proficient in various social media platforms which include, but are not limited to, Instagram, Facebook, and TikTok
Self-motivated, takes initiative, able to maintain strong working relationships
Ability to communicate the results of analyses in a clear and effective manner with social media outlets
Preferred
Preferred Majors: Digital Marketing, Broadcasting, Advertising, Marketing
Familiarity with Canva, Slack & G Suite is a plus
