Responsibilities
Maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software, including multi-user applications and servers
Implement and oversee security measures like firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection, and VPNs to protect against unauthorized access
Resolve network connectivity issues, hardware/software problems, and provide technical assistance to end-users
Create and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures
Qualification
Required
Maintain network hardware (routers, switches, firewalls) and software, including multi-user applications and servers
Implement and oversee security measures like firewalls, antivirus, intrusion detection, and VPNs to protect against unauthorized access
Resolve network connectivity issues, hardware/software problems, and provide technical assistance to end-users
Create and maintain detailed documentation for network configurations, policies, and procedures
Strong knowledge of networking protocols, hardware, and security principles
Good Knowledge in Cisco Nexus Devices and FortiGate Firewalls
Deep understanding of TCP/IP, DNS, DHCP, VLANs, routing, and switching
Configuring and managing routers, switches and firewalls
Firewalls, VPNs, IDS/IPS, antivirus, and security protocols
Scripting with PowerShell or Python for efficiency
Using tools to track and optimize network health
Implementing and managing backup/disaster recovery plans
6-8+ years experience
Preferred
Strong Problem Solving and Analytical skills
Excellent communication (written/oral) & presentation skills
Ability to interact with internal/external clients and handle escalations
Highly committed to meet the business objectives
Ability to build and maintain strong working relationships
ITIL knowledge
