Banking Regulatory Compliance Specialist

They are seeking a Banking Regulatory Compliance Specialist to act as a strategic partner and liaison between the Banking Department and various stakeholders to ensure compliance with regulatory requirements and the company's AML Program.

Responsibilities
Act as strategic partner and liaison between Banking Department, Internal/External Audit, Legal, and IT as well as Paycom’s external banking partners and local, state and federal agencies to ensure regulatory compliance is maintained
Coordinate all activities related to the compliance of Paycom’s AML Program including but not limited to:
Identify, develop, and oversee all regulatory reporting requirements
Ensure proper resources are available to meet audit and/or regulatory deadlines
Monitor various AML reports to identify, document, and report such activities to management and appropriate state and federal agencies such as filing Suspicious Activity Reports (SAR’s) as required by law
Collaborates with Banking Leadership to fulfill all internal/external audit requests making sure all documentation is accurate and complete and deadlines are met
Responsible for the documentation and reporting of Unclaimed Property
Monitor fraud trends and recommend strategies to deter fraudulent activity
Investigate potentially fraudulent activity and report findings to management
Assist with activates related to compliance with the following:
State Departments of Banking
OFAC – Office of Foreign Assets Control
AML – Anti-Money Laundering
NACHA Rules
FinCEN – Financial Crimes Enforcement Network
BSA – Bank Secrecy Act
SOX - Sarbanes Oxley
SOC1 / SOC2
Monitors changes in regulatory or legal requirements and helps recommend/implement a course of action to ensure compliance is maintained
Assists in training personnel on current or changing policies, procedures, and regulations
Assist the Banking Risk Management team with other risk mitigation activities
Performs other duties as assigned
Qualification
Required
Experience in banking regulatory compliance
Knowledge of Anti-Money Laundering (AML) Program
Ability to coordinate internal and external audit requests
Experience with regulatory reporting requirements
Ability to monitor and report on AML activities
Knowledge of fraud trends and strategies to deter fraudulent activity
Experience with compliance related to State Departments of Banking, OFAC, AML, NACHA Rules, FinCEN, BSA, SOX, SOC1/SOC2
Ability to monitor changes in regulatory or legal requirements
Experience in training personnel on policies, procedures, and regulations
Strong communication and collaboration skills
