Responsibilities
Define project scope, goals, and deliverables aligned with strategic objectives
Develop detailed project plans with clear milestones and timelines
Coordinate internal and external teams for seamless execution
Manage project budgets, forecasts, and cost controls
Track risks, issues, and dependencies; provide clear stakeholder updates
Lead project status meetings, risk reviews, and post-implementation reviews
Drive communication across cross-functional technical and business teams
Apply Agile, Scrum, and/or Waterfall methodologies as appropriate
Ensure compliance with project governance and PM standards
Qualification
Required

deep understanding of virtualization platforms
proven experience managing complex cutovers with minimal service disruption

VMware platform expertise
Alternate hypervisor migration experience
Hands-on execution of workload migrations (planning, cutover, validation, rollback)
Platform / infrastructure migration tooling
Experience with migration frameworks, automation tools, and dependency mapping
Strong understanding of virtualization & hypervisor architecture
Performance tuning and workload optimization post-migration
Data center, hybrid, and cloud environments
Managing migrations without service disruption
Risk, cutover, and timeline management under vendor-driven constraints
