Allied Services is seeking a Registered Nurse for their Transitional Rehab Unit. The Registered Nurse will coordinate all aspects of patient care while providing a therapeutic environment for patients and their families, ensuring care is tailored to the individual needs of the patients served.

Responsibilities

Coordinates all aspects of care for patients
Provides a therapeutic environment for patients and family development
Demonstrates knowledge and skills necessary to provide care appropriate to the age of the patients served within the Nursing Department
Assesses data reflective of the patient's status
Interprets the appropriate information needed to identify each patient's requirements relative to the populations served by the hospital
Provides the care needed as described in the Nursing Department's policies and procedures

Registered Nurse LicenseCPR CertificationLong Term Care ExperiencePatient Assessment SkillsEffective Communication

Required

Graduate of an accredited Nursing Program required
Possession of a current license as a Registered Nurse as issued by the Pennsylvania State Board of Nurse Examiners
Ability to interact and communicate effectively both verbally and in writing required
CPR certification must be obtained and maintained
Must be cleared by PA State Police criminal history check
Must be able to demonstrate the knowledge and skills necessary to provide individualized care appropriate to the age specific need and culture of the patient served
Ability to transport self throughout facility is required

Preferred

Minimum of two (2) years of satisfactory experience in a long term care setting preferred
