Responsibilities
Perform incoming and in-process inspection
Work with production personnel to ensure production and shipment of quality products
Knowledge of all production processes and their associated standards
Perform in-process and end-of-the-line product inspections and document findings in the database
Maintaining and improving quality inspection processes
Use standard measuring equipment
Differentiate between critical and non-critical dimensions and specifications on technical specifications
Communicate with Quality Manager and line supervision when there are findings to determine levels of risk
Work with production personnel to ensure production and shipment of quality products
Maintaining and improving quality inspection processes
Maintain calibration system, write work instructions, assist in training, and implement action plans towards achieving established IATF quality objectives and business goals
Pack out products once assessed and approved from a quality standpoint
Qualification
Required
Skilled in inspecting
Ability to read a tape measure
Preferred
High school diploma or general education degree preferred
3-5 years manufacturing experience preferred
2 years IATF experience, QA, Lean, and ISO experience preferred
