Responsibilities
Define and execute the roadmap for getting data into Altana
Own the suite of ingestion methods: high-volume REST APIs for tech-forward clients, native connectors for major ERPs (SAP, Oracle, Microsoft Dynamics), and simple, robust flat-file importers for smaller suppliers
Identify the most critical systems our customers use and lead the development of "One-Click" integrations that remove the need for custom engineering work
Architect pipelines that support continuous data synchronization, ensuring the customer’s view of their supply chain is always current
Build intuitive, low-code tools that allow non-technical users to map their internal data fields (e.g., "Vendor_ID") to Altana’s canonical schema
Work with our AI teams to productize our matching logic
Create a transparent feedback loop
Design an experience that works for the "long tail."
Ensure that our ingestion infrastructure meets the highest standards of security
Define how we handle encryption, data residency, and access controls during the ingestion process
Qualification
Required
7+ years of Product Management experience, ideally with a deep understanding of integration between data platforms
Understanding of APIs, EDI, ETL/ELT, JSON
Ability to earn trust with a CIO at a Fortune 500 company by speaking their language (governance and security)
Empathy for the Operations Manager at a mid-sized firm who just wants to upload a CSV and get to work
Resilience to real-world data challenges and the messiness of real-world data
Ability to define system interfaces of the solution alongside engineering
Courage to roll up your sleeves and define API specs and data schemas, especially as it relates to the user experience
