Completes examinations of aircraft using dye-penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, ultra-sonic inspection methods
Accomplishes inspections in accordance with ATS, customer, and FAA requirements
Makes acceptance or rejection determinations
Maintains equipment. Sets up and calibrates equipment
Completes job assignments in a timely manner
Accurately clocks/labors into jobs
Regular and prompt attendance
Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers
Maintains certification as a Level I or II every three years
Keeps required training up to date
Qualification
Required
Under general supervision, the Non-Destructive Inspection (NDI) Technician performs Non-Destructive Testing (NDT) utilizing liquid penetrants, magnetic particle, eddy current and ultrasonic techniques as certified, (FARS, RSM, SBs, ADs, etc.)
Evaluates inspection data, interprets Inspection findings/results, and records inspection results on approved documents
Completes examinations of aircraft using dye-penetrant, magnetic particle, eddy current, ultra-sonic inspection methods
Accomplishes inspections in accordance with ATS, customer, and FAA requirements
Makes acceptance or rejection determinations
Maintains equipment. Sets up and calibrates equipment
Completes job assignments in a timely manner
Accurately clocks/labors into jobs

Effective and appropriate conduct with co-workers
Maintains certification as a Level I or II every three years
Keeps required training up to date
Minimum eighteen (18) months of aircraft experience
Completes two Level 1 NDT methods with documented required hours
Completes Hangar requirements – ET and UT, optional PT and MT
Minimum eighteen (18) months of component experience
Completes four level 1 NDT methods with documented required hours
Completes Component requirements – ET, UT, PT, and MT
Documented OJT experience on NDT TF-698 OJT
Documented work experience on TF-777 or equivalent
Ability to pass eye exam TF-806, annually
No active Corrective Actions or disciplinary actions
Supervisory Level: Needs supervision with Level 1 Methods
Valid driver's license required (for the state you work/reside)
Successful completion of formal training in non-destructive inspection by an accredited college, university and/or vocational training school or successfully complete an industry standard NDT methods course or combination of education and training
Repairman's Certification or Airframe Certification or (A&P) Certificates required
Preferred
Experience in Aviation or MRO preferred
