Neuroimmunology Faculty, Assistant Professor
The Medical College of Wisconsin is seeking a board certified/board eligible physician to join their Division of Pediatric Neurology. The role involves providing expert clinical care for children with neurology conditions and participating in teaching, research, and quality improvement initiatives.
Responsibilities
Provide expert clinical care for children with general neurology conditions as well as complex neuroimmunology and neuroinflammatory disorders
Collaborate within a multidisciplinary team including neuropsychology, rheumatology, immunology, infectious disease, and neuroradiology to provide comprehensive patient care
Contribute to the academic mission through teaching and mentorship of residents, fellows, and medical students
Participate in and/or lead clinical trials and translational research initiatives
Engage in quality improvement and program development to enhance patient care
Practice at Children's Wisconsin Milwaukee campus as well as at least one community clinic
Performs other duties as assigned by Chair or Chair-Designate
Qualification
Required
Medical degree (MD, DO, or equivalent) from an accredited institution
Fellowship trained in Neuroimmunology
Board certification or eligibility in Pediatric Neurology
State medical licensure, or eligibility to obtain license, in the state of Wisconsin
Rank will be determined by the qualifications and experience of the successful finalist
