Education Program Technical Assistance Specialist (NDTAC)

They are seeking an experienced Technical Assistance Specialist to support a national initiative focused on K–12 education programs, working closely with various educational agencies to deliver high-quality technical assistance and professional development activities.

Responsibilities
Develop, coordinate, and facilitate virtual technical assistance activities, including webinars, communities of practice, office hours, and online learning sessions
Provide direct technical assistance to state agencies, local education agencies, and program grantees in support of Title I, Part D implementation
Support the development, review, and dissemination of best practice resources, toolkits, guides, and training materials
Collaborate with federal staff and project team members to identify technical assistance needs and align activities with program priorities
Assist with planning and delivery of professional development activities, including session agendas, presentation materials, and participant engagement strategies
Support documentation, evaluation, and continuous improvement of technical assistance activities, including participant feedback and outcomes
Contribute to coordination of national meetings, learning events, or other collaborative activities as required by the contract
Maintain organized records, materials, and documentation to support reporting, compliance, and continuity of services
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Education, Public Policy, Social Sciences, or a related field is required
Minimum of 3 years of experience supporting federal, state, or local education initiatives, programs, or grants
Demonstrated experience providing technical assistance, training, or professional development to education agencies or practitioners
Strong facilitation and communication skills, with the ability to engage diverse audiences in virtual learning environments
Ability to translate policy, data, or research into practical guidance and actionable resources for education stakeholders
Strong organizational skills and ability to manage multiple activities, timelines, and deliverables in a remote environment
Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, PowerPoint, Excel, Outlook) and virtual collaboration platforms such as Microsoft Teams or Zoom
U.S. citizenship and the ability to pass a background investigation or obtain a security clearance, if required by the contract
Preferred
Experience supporting Title I programs, particularly Title I, Part D, or programs serving special populations in K–12 education
Experience facilitating communities of practice or multi-session learning cohorts
Familiarity with federally funded technical assistance centers or Department of Education initiatives
