They are seeking an Underwriting Scenario Desk Specialist to support Account Executives by providing guidance on complex loan scenarios and ensuring proper alignment with non-QM loan offerings.

Responsibilities

Submitting loan prequalifications in our PQ system

Serve as a subject matter expert on all non-QM loan programs, guidelines, and eligibility criteria

Provide scenario-based support to Account Executives to determine loan viability and product fit across multiple channels, including in-person consultations, active monitoring and engagement in the Scenario Slack Channel, and timely management of the Scenario Inbox

Collaborate closely with Operations, Underwriting, and Sales to streamline communication and resolve guideline-related questions quickly

Maintain up-to-date knowledge of program updates and translate changes into clear guidance for the sales team

Partner with the VP of Lending to identify trends in inquiries, provide feedback on guideline pain points, and recommend training or updates

Document common scenarios and create reference materials or FAQ content to support AE enablement

Support the sales with escalated or complex cases as needed

Perform other related duties and projects as assigned
