Responsibilities

Manage assigned requisitions from intake through offer acceptance, including applicant review, screening, interviewing, and candidate evaluation
Identify, assess, and present qualified candidates to hiring managers with clear recommendations
Conduct structured interviews using behavioral and competency-based techniques
Support hiring decisions for high-volume or hard-to-fill roles as delegated
Ensure candidate evaluations align with job requirements and organizational standards
Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, role requirements, and hiring priorities
Provide guidance on selection criteria, interview strategies, and recruiting approaches
Maintain regular communication with hiring leaders regarding candidate status and recruiting progress
Ensure job descriptions and interview guides are accurate, current, and compliant
Serve as a trusted point of contact throughout the recruitment process
Proactively source candidates using job boards, professional networks, social platforms, and referrals
Build and maintain talent pipelines for recurring, critical, and hard-to-fill roles
Engage and maintain relationships with active and passive candidates
Represent Sun Health at recruitment and career events
Promote Sun Health's employment brand to attract qualified talent
Communicate clearly and consistently with candidates throughout the recruitment process
Educate candidates on role expectations, culture, compensation, and benefits
Coordinate and extend job offers in partnership with hiring leaders and HR
Conduct reference checks and employment verifications as appropriate
Ensure smooth transition to the Talent Service Center following offer acceptance
Maintain accurate and timely candidate and requisition data in the Applicant Tracking System (ATS)
Support ATS training, administration, and process enhancements
Ensure recruiting activities comply with applicable employment laws and organizational policies
Monitor recruiting metrics and identify opportunities for improvement
Contribute to ongoing improvements in recruiting practices and tools

Required

Bachelor's Degree in HR, Business or related field required
Minimum 2-4 years of experience in HR and recruiting, or a comparable combination of experience
Possess current or has the ability to obtain a Level 1 Fingerprint Clearance Card

Preferred

Experience in recruiting and onboarding, healthcare experience preferred
