Responsibilities
Client Solution Leadership : Lead the design and execution of client data solutions, assessing technical and business needs to deliver scalable, impactful outcomes across multiple industries
Strategic Advisory : Serve as a trusted advisor to client executives, translating complex technical topics into clear business value and guiding strategic technology decisions
Data Architecture & Engineering : Architect, build, and optimize data pipelines, data architectures, and analytical platforms that drive business insights and operational efficiency
Technical Problem-Solving : Evaluate and analyze complex, ambiguous data scenarios, recommending innovative solutions that balance both technical feasibility and long-term business objectives
Project Team Management : Manage and direct project teams, setting technical direction and overseeing execution to ensure delivery of high-quality solutions on time and within scope
Business Development & Collaboration : Collaborate with internal teams and client stakeholders to identify new opportunities for value creation, process improvement, and technical advisory
Client-Facing Leadership : Lead client-facing discussions around data platform modernization, integration strategies, cloud architecture, and data governance best practices
Multi-Engagement Execution : Take ownership of project execution across multiple concurrent engagements, including coordination of junior consultants and cross-functional teams
Mentorship & Development : Provide mentorship and coaching to technical team members, fostering ongoing professional development and skill growth
Firm Contribution : Participate actively in internal firm initiatives, contributing to the development of company capabilities, methods, and knowledge assets
Growth Opportunities : Support business development efforts by identifying expansion and retention opportunities within existing client relationships
Travel : Travel as needed to meet client needs
Qualification
Required
Proven experience leading and delivering complex data engineering projects, including architecture design, data integration, pipeline development, and cloud-based data solutions
Strong understanding of modern data platforms and technologies (e.g. SQL, cloud data warehouses, data lakes, ETL/ELT frameworks, and orchestration tools)
Ability to assess ambiguous business problems, design practical data solutions, and confidently recommend approaches to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
Demonstrated ability to build trusted relationships with clients, including executive-level stakeholders, by providing clear technical guidance and business-aligned recommendations
Experience managing project teams, coordinating cross-functional resources, and overseeing project delivery across multiple engagements
Strong communication and consulting skills with the ability to translate technical concepts into actionable business insights
Commitment to mentoring junior team members and contributing to the growth of the firm's technical capabilities
Intellectual curiosity with a desire to continuously learn, challenge assumptions, and bring creative thinking to client problems
Preferred
Hands-on experience with platforms like Snowflake and dbt
Experience in consulting or client-facing technical roles
Background working across multiple industries
Track record of identifying and closing business development opportunities
