Responsibilities

Responsible for implementing, overseeing, and managing assigned major contract program(s)
Achieve total Customer Satisfaction and profitable growth
Provide leadership role as the primary point of contact for major programs in order to establish a growing long-term business relationship through delivery
Achieve preferred supplier recognition from customer
Works with Project/Program Managers to review and monitor project/program health Participation in early dataCon involvement with customer new product development
Acts as the Company's technical point of contact
Develops, directs, and monitors projects and programs from quote phase to purchase order processing and delivery to achieve customer satisfaction
Manages and facilitates, with full communication, all phases of a program from inception to completion including schedules and budgets
Organizes inter-departmental, customer and vendor activities
Monitors performance against customer requirements
Serves as technical consultant to develop and support quotes
Provides the necessary level of timely technical activities to support customer and dataCon
Eliminates technical roadblocks to ensure production schedule is maintained
Implement and execute all AS 9100C procedures to identify and drive resolution of process inefficiencies, product quality issues, and vendor and customer issues
Manager is responsible for maintaining AS 9100 C training
Proactively participates in AS 9100 C management review pertaining to all respective department responsibilities
Customer on site quarter business reviews with each major customer to discuss specific key business metrics such as quality, delivery, responsiveness, and inventory
Develops and implements the manufacturing plan to achieve delivery
Coordinates procurement activity
Conducts inship material with Inventory scheduler/ production planner
Consults with quality to develop sustainable quality in production
Evaluates all DPMO results and produce yields for customer discussion
Drives continuous improvement and PIDs through manufacturing trend data, first piece, DPMO, mfg issues, mrb, etc
DFX leadership
Works with materials department to develop periodic inventory planning to include Material Agreements with customers and suppliers
Forecasts customer delivery requirements
Directs the integration of a program management team which includes: purchasing, engineering, quality assurance, manufacturing, customer service and administrative functional areas
Works with materials staff to optimize inventory and materials costs
May assist in developing alternative sources of materials
Monthly reports on specific key business metrics such as quality, delivery, responsiveness, and inventory
Identifies risk to schedule, cost, and quality utilizing the RAM format
Verify test equipment and all other tooling is on order and on schedule
Verify BOM with latest released PO revs
Introduces quality and productivity enhancements with written recommendation to President
Identifies DFM issues and communicate to customer
Develops all new quotes from labor to include material
Hold weekly (minimum) updates with customer on order status
Participates in TQM initiatives in conducting daily tasks
Responsible for own safety following company and OSHA safety guideline

Required

BSEE, BSME, MBA or related field, or equivalent experience
Not less than 12 years related experience
Strong written and verbal communication skills
Should be able to work with shop drawings, plans, schedules, prints and specifications
Exceptionable PC skills, including word processing and spreadsheets
Familiarity with business information systems
