Viega LLC is seeking highly motivated interns to join their team for a Summer Engineer Intern Program in McPherson, KS. This program will provide opportunities to learn about business operations while actively working on various projects and tasks.

Responsibilities

Could include the following:
* Viega Engineer support:
+ Design Work
+ Data Acquisition
+ Writing specification for new equipment
+ Sample collection
+ Hands on work
* Viega Leadership support:
+ Updating productivity lists
+ Research and identify bottlenecks in systems
+ Learn to work safely in a professional team environment
* Attend Meetings as required or assigned
Perform additional duties as needed

Qualification

Required

Currently pursuing a degree in Engineering or a related field at an accredited university
Familiarity with Microsoft Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Auto CAD, Solid works, Catia
Ability to work independently and collaboratively within a team environment
Strong interpersonal and time management skills
Availability to work a 40-hour week (within 1st/2nd shift business hours) throughout the summer
Strong analytical skills

Preferred

Graduate students, or undergraduate students who have completed at least 3 full years of undergraduate course work preferred
