Responsibilities
Prepare engineering calculations, technical reports, plans, specifications, and permitting documents
Perform hydrologic and hydraulic modeling, including stormwater collection system analysis
Develop stormwater management designs and obtain permits in compliance with state and local regulations
Perform reviews of drainage designs, plans, and reports for FDOT and municipal transportation projects
Ensure design quality, technical accuracy, and compliance with applicable FDOT standards and guidelines
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree in Civil, Environmental, or Transportation Engineering (or a related field)
10+ years of experience in drainage design for highway and roadway projects
Proficient in OpenRoads Designer
Strong knowledge of FDOT Design Manual, Standard Plans, and Drainage Manual
Prior experience on FDOT District 6 (D6) projects strongly preferred
Licensed Professional Engineer in the State of Florida or the ability to obtain in 6 months
