Graduate Assistant Administrative
NCCU Public Administration is seeking a Graduate Assistant Administrative to support the Division of Research and Economic Development. The role involves performing various administrative duties, assisting with research initiatives, and coordinating tasks related to research compliance and outreach efforts.

Responsibilities
Gathers readily available information from office records to draft e-mails, memos and other documents
Uses a variety of office equipment information systems (e.g. telephone, computer with standard software, fax, copier, etc.) to access, input, and verify standard information
Coordinates tasks and establishes priorities in response to work flow of the office or work unit
Understands general operation of functional unit, to include knowledge of staff and program responsibilities
Serve as Co-Coordinator to the NCCU IRB
Screening submissions prior to ensure forms have been completed appropriately
Prepare minutes/activity reports for IRB meetings
Draft approved correspondence to investigators
Manage the flow of information (including opening and sorting mail, email, answering and referring telephone calls)
Other duties requested by the IRB Chair and Director of Research Compliance
Support enhancements to the university’s research portal website
Assist with the implementation and tracking of a pilot research funding program
Contribute to initiatives that strengthen research capacity, foster interdisciplinary collaboration, and increase student engagement in research across campus
Work closely with DRSP staff and faculty stakeholders to organize information, develop communication materials, support data collection and reporting, and assist with outreach and coordination efforts
Qualification
Required
NCCU graduate student in good standing
