The role involves servicing base building systems, including HVAC mechanical, electrical, and plumbing equipment, and requires the ability to lead technicians, manage projects, and respond to emergencies.

Responsibilities
Safely operate and maintain facility systems in accordance with government and regulatory requirements
Perform preventive maintenance and repairs on HVAC, mechanical, electrical, plumbing, and life safety systems
Monitor equipment performance, record readings, and make adjustments to ensure optimal operation
Respond to customer service requests and emergency situations in a timely, professional manner
Conduct safety inspections, identify hazards, and enforce safety protocols throughout the facility
Coordinate with outside contractors and monitor work quality and pricing
Maintain accurate records and assist with incident investigations as needed
Ability to participate in an on call rotation for after hours, weekends and holidays
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent
Minimum 4 years of experience in electrical trade OR HVAC/refrigeration trade, or equivalent combination of education and experience
Valid U.S. driver's license with clean driving record
Ability to work with proper personal protective equipment (PPE)
Physical ability to perform frequent walking, climbing, bending, kneeling, lifting, and overhead work
Preferred
Universal Technician Certification for CFCs (or ability to obtain within 90 days)
Experience with computer-controlled building automation systems
Knowledge of thermodynamic, electrical, and mechanical systems
Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
Trade school education in HVAC, electrical, or related field
Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving abilities
Excellent customer service and communication skills
