Responsibilities
Support brokers with day-to-day account management for new and existing clients
Prepare insurance submissions, quotations, endorsements, renewals, and policy documents
Liaise with insurance carriers, underwriters, and clients to obtain information and resolve issues
Review policies and endorsements for accuracy and compliance
Maintain client files and update broker management systems and CRM records
Assist with invoicing, premium tracking, and documentation follow-ups
Respond to client inquiries and route complex issues to the broker as needed
Ensure adherence to regulatory, compliance, and internal procedures
Provide general administrative and operational support to the brokerage team
Qualification
Required
High school diploma or equivalent (post-secondary education in business or insurance preferred)
1–3 years of experience in insurance, financial services, or an administrative support role
Basic understanding of insurance products and terminology (personal or commercial lines)
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Proficiency in MS Office (Word, Excel, Outlook); experience with broker management systems a plus
Excellent written and verbal communication skills
Preferred
Insurance license or willingness to obtain one
Experience working in an insurance brokerage environment
Familiarity with underwriting processes and policy servicing
