Responsibilities

Translate requirements into software designs and deliver clean, efficient, extensible, and maintainable code
Architect, develop, and deploy highly scalable, resilient, and performant distributed systems and full-stack applications
Boost team productivity by identifying and advocating opportunities for process and tooling improvements
Anticipate areas of frequent change, and design with flexibility to improve long-term engineering velocity
Collaborate with cross-functional partners to deliver innovative solutions aligned with development goals and principles
Apply evidence-centered design to ensure features are testable, high-quality, and continuously deliverable
Provide technical leadership: code reviews, ADR (Architecture Decision Record) feedback, mentoring, and coaching across teams
Identify gaps and systemic issues, propose solutions, shape the engineering roadmap, and drive resolution
Lead engineering support, release management, and on-call responsibilities for an always-on 24/7 site

Required

6+ years of software development with strong CS fundamentals and problem-solving skills
Deep expertise with Java (Spring / Spring Boot), Python, and building scalable APIs (REST & GraphQL)
Proficiency in JavaScript/TypeScript, React, Node.js, and modern web frameworks
Hands-on experience building features powered by large language models, including timely and tool development, API integration, and validating agent behavior through evaluation, monitoring, and guardrails
Solid understanding of databases (Oracle, NoSQL, GraphQL)
Familiarity with Agile, CI/CD pipelines, Git, and modern engineering practices
Experience using AI-assisted development tools (e.g., coding assistants, test generation, code review aids) to accelerate delivery while maintaining high code quality
