Engineering Controls Technician II

Responsibilities
Utilize technical expertise to troubleshoot and resolve issues
Maintain and repair technical equipment to ensure optimal performance
Collaborate with team members to develop and implement solutions to problems
Monitor and evaluate the performance of systems and equipment to detect faults
Adhere to safety protocols and procedures
Provide detailed reports on repairs made and issues encountered
Participate in continual learning and professional development activities
Qualification
Required
High School GED or equivalent
2+ years manufacturing or technical environment experience
Creative/innovative problem solving
Able to collaborate across organizational boundaries and integrate solutions
Results oriented and high commitment
The ability to learn new technology and processes quickly
Excel knowledge
Experience coding and troubleshooting PLC software
Ability to read and interpret electrical, mechanical, and PLC schematics
Preferred
2 year technical degree preferred
3-5+ years manufacturing environment experience
Troubleshooting experience
Knowledge of electrical and/or mechanical systems
Design software knowledge
Ability to use basic measuring tools (calipers, micrometers, and rulers)
TwinCat PLC programming experience
ACR or other motion control programming experience
