Responsibilities
Perform building maintenance and repair of manufacturing equipment
Repair and maintain machinery and mechanical equipment such as pneumatic tools, HVAC equipment, production machines, and other equipment
Lead complex equipment repairs and upgrades
Oversee preventative maintenance programs
Manage the spare parts inventory and work order system
Ensure optimal equipment performance
Mentor junior technicians
Contribute to the continuous improvement of maintenance processes
Qualification
Required
High School Degree or GED preferred
Five years of previous experience performing basic maintenance repairs, including plumbing, electrical, and mechanical, under daily supervision
Preferred
Experience reading, understanding, and following wiring schematics
Experience repairing numerical control machines like CNC machines, ply cutters, and ultrasonic inspection systems
Experience with compressed air systems
An understanding of autoclaves, pressure vessels, and gas-fired batch equipment
Familiarity with the use and maintenance of various pneumatic hand tools
Experience with basic metal fabrication, cutting, and welding
Working knowledge of dust collection equipment, HVAC, walk-in freezers, and hydraulic systems
Experience troubleshooting PLC controls
Experience in CNC diagnostics and maintenance is strongly preferred
More than 5 years of previous industrial maintenance experience performing basic maintenance repairs, including plumbing, electrical, hydraulic, pneumatic, and mechanical under daily supervision
