They are seeking a Cyber Security Analyst responsible for preparing risk assessments, managing vulnerabilities, and ensuring compliance with security controls.

Responsibilities

Preparing Risk Assessments

Hands on knowledge of any type of IT platform: Windows Server, Windows workstation, Red Hat Linux, Cisco, VMware Infrastructure

Reviewing vulnerability scan results, tracking vulnerabilities and working with system administrators to resolve them

Hands on knowledge of DISA STIG compliance and validation

Vulnerability management

A valid CompTIA Security+ certification (IAT level II or Higher)

Drive remediation actions on servers and workstations

Track IAVAs and identify minimum compliant software versions

Experience with ACAS/NESSUS Scanner

Experience with eMASS

Hands experience with Army AESS HBSS\Trellix products is a plus

Drafting SOP’s or System Security Plan’s (SSP’s)

Validation of RMF Security Controls
