Tommy Nobis Center is seeking a People & Culture Recruiter to manage and maintain a pipeline of candidates for various roles. The Recruiter will collaborate with the People and Culture team to develop effective recruitment strategies and ensure compliance with employment laws and regulations.

Responsibilities

Responsible for talent acquisition and recruitment processes by collaborating with the People and Culture team to develop effective recruitment strategies
Keeps up to date with the latest employment legislation and regulations as well as Recruiting/P&C trends and best practices. Makes recommendations for improvements
Prepares and posts job openings, composes and places ads with WebATS, DOL, website and other agencies as for all Tommy Nobis Center and Nobis Enterprise positions
Attracts suitable candidates through databases, online employment forums, job fairs, social media, etc
Schedules interviews, prepares interview information and any prescreening materials utilized for all staff openings. Coordinates with People & Culture team and other applicable interviewers
Assesses applicants' knowledge, skills, and experience to best suit open positions
Manage background screening for candidates as well as initial onboarding process for new hires
Maintains up-to-date knowledge of federal and state employment law and compliance requirements
Responds to People & Culture-related inquiries as needed
May perform other duties as assigned

Required

Bachelor's degree in human resources, rehabilitation, business administration, or a related field preferred
3-5 years recruiting/human resources experience, with experience with HRMS/HRIS systems
Mission driven, guided by core values and a pleasure to work with
Demonstrated knowledge of the people and culture field
Understanding of state and federal employment regulations
Understanding of personnel and compliance records management
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
Excellent written, verbal, and interpersonal communication abilities
Ability to maintain confidentiality
Able to converse and build business relationships
Must pass drug screen and background check
Eligibility to work in the United States

Preferred

PHR or SPHR certification preferred
Proficiency with Microsoft Office (Microsoft Excel, Microsoft Outlook)
