Responsibilities

Prepare plans and specifications
Perform engineering design calculations
Analyze reports, maps, drawings, environmental data, and aerial photographs
Prepare environmental monitoring plans
Draft construction plans using AutoCAD and CIVIL 3D
Prepare construction cost estimations
Collect and/or review environmental monitoring data (air, gas, stormwater, groundwater)
Prepare environmental reports
Oversee construction projects to monitor progress and ensure conformance to engineering plans, specifications, and construction and safety standards

Required

A positive attitude and willingness to learn
Unwavering personal integrity

Preferred

Experience in a civil or environmental engineering role preferred (e.g., internship and/or co-operative experience)
Experience in landfill design, permitting, or environmental monitoring
Knowledge of environmental regulations a plus
