Public Sector / SLED Territory Executive

Responsibilities
Own and grow AMD’s footprint within Public Sector accounts through direct end-user engagement and territory leadership
Develop multi-quarter account and territory plans, targeting key SLED agencies, higher-ed institutions, and procurement organizations
Drive sell-out and pipeline growth in partnership with OEMs and resellers, ensuring alignment on AMD’s strategy and value proposition
Influence customer specifications, RFPs, and bids by supporting OEM/partner responses and positioning AMD as the preferred architecture
Enable and train partner sales teams on AMD messaging, roadmaps, and competitive positioning
Consistently achieve quarterly and annual revenue, share, and pipeline goals
Serve as AMD’s trusted representative within the SLED ecosystem — building long-term relationships that drive awareness, consideration, and adoption
Collaborate internally with Sales, Marketing, Business Units, Channel, and Operations to deliver seamless customer support and execution
Qualification
Required
Exceptional communication, storytelling, and executive presence with the ability to influence IT, procurement, and government program stakeholders
Hunter mindset with creativity to build your own pipeline, uncover net-new opportunities, and activate partners
Strategic and analytical thinking, using data to plan territory coverage, forecast accurately, identify trends, and shape market strategy
Ability to work independently and thrive in a remote environment while collaborating cross-functionally
High integrity, professionalism, and customer-centric values, especially in regulated environments
Willingness to travel ~50% across the region
Preferred
Proven success in Public Sector / SLED sales or business development, ideally with experience navigating procurement cycles and contract vehicles
Strong understanding of OEM and channel partner motions, ideally with Dell, HP, Lenovo or similar ecosystems
Experience executing go-to-market strategies, influencing specifications, and managing multi-stakeholder engagements
Demonstrated ability to drive growth through planning, prospecting, partnering, and value-based selling
Bachelor's degree in a related field preferred, or equivalent experience
