The Job Developer will assist clients in securing employment, manage a caseload, and build relationships with employers and community partners.
Civic & Social Organization
Responsibilities
Conduct client outreach and recruitment activities
Develop partnerships with regional employers
Maintain active knowledge of Construction and Transportation, Distribution, and Logistics Industries
Facilitate client orientations
Perform client in-take and assessment
Conduct/participate in Job Readiness Trainings
Provide client follow-up and retention services
Perform job development, job referral, and job placement services
Data entry performed on daily basis
Produce monthly, quarterly, and annual client progress reports
Qualification
Required
Minimum of five (5) years job development experience
Ability to multi-task
Ability to work under pressure
Requires minimal supervision
Ability to work in a team setting
Strong job development experience
Experience recruiting and working with a diverse population
Experience conducting client trainings
Strong case management skills
Strong communication and written skills
Good time management, ability to prioritize, and is well-organized
Good listening skills
Must be goal- and outcome-oriented
Attention to detail
Ability to meet deadlines
Must be a self-starter
Must be flexible and able to work early, late evening hours or weekends periodically
Must be willing to travel
Strong data-entry experience
Sound written and verbal communication skills
Ability to prioritize and complete multiple tasks
Preferred
Being bilingual is a plus
