Underwrites day-to-day transactions in assigned specialty programs
Coordinates underwriting, pricing, and loss control activities
Improves existing insurance programs and underwriting methodologies
Implements and improves underwriting program guidelines and ensures compliance
Supports broker relationships
Supports carrier & reinsurance relationships
Monitors performance metrics and prepares reports
Drives the business towards profitable underwriting growth
Support and lead special projects as needed
Qualification
Required
Undergraduate degree + 7-15+ years of relevant professional experience underwriting commercial programs in the United States
Demonstrated professional capabilities in commercial insurance underwriting in a professional setting
