Responsibilities

Responsible for ensuring that the UF Health Leesburg Hospital Foundation & UF Health The Villages Hospital Auxiliary Foundation meets goals and objectives related to special events fundraising projects and other event-related activities

Manage media relations and marketing communications activities, and serves as a spokesperson for the Foundation when appropriate

Required

Associates Degree req (related field preferred)

Must be able to read, write, speak and understand English

Minimum 2 years experience in Event Planning

Proficiency in Word, Excel, Power Point

Ability to multi-task and meet deadlines

Working knowledge of graphic design elements and software programs

Ability to work evenings and weekends when job requires it

Ability to work both collaboratively and independently

Excellent problem solving skills

Ability to maintain 'big picture' while coordinating small details

Ability to travel in order to perform position responsibilities

Excellent leadership qualities

Preferred

Bachelors (pref)

Minimum 2 years experience in Event Planning (nonprofit setting preferred)
