Manufacturing Engineer Hourly Technician - Lean

They are seeking a Manufacturing Engineer Hourly Technician to join the LEAN team in Fort Worth, TX, responsible for driving continuous improvement in manufacturing processes and optimizing production efficiency.

Responsibilities
Supporting or Leading Lean initiatives, training and continuous improvement activities
Contributing to the design of efficient layouts and material flows to optimize productivity
Developing standards and work instructions to ensure consistency in production processes
Conducting problem investigations, root cause analysis, solution implementation, and follow-up
Assisting with the set-up of production lines and processes, including hands-on activities
Collaborating with manufacturing, contractors, and suppliers from project implementation
Performs other work as advised by Supervision
Qualification
Required
2+ years in a manufacturing facility
Familiarity with basic Lean principles (i.e. 6S, 7 Waste, Kaizen, Problem Solving)
Proficient in hand and power tools for installation of electro-mechanical equipment
Basic computer skills including Microsoft office
Ability to interpret engineering drawings and schematics
Ability to speak, read, write, and comprehend the English Language
Legally authorized to work in the United States on a continual and permanent basis without company sponsorship
Preferred
Two-year technical degree or equivalent
Strong Verbal communication skills with the ability to facilitate discussions and deliver trainings
4+ years supporting manufacturing in a tech role
Experience in safely operating powered industrial vehicles
Knowledge and experience with AutoCAD or similar software applications
SAP Knowledge or equivalent ERP systems
