Report live and taped segments, both scripted and unscripted, clearly and accurately
Independently gather facts, video, and interviews; manage multiple live shots per shift
Write compelling broadcast scripts and engaging digital content
Edit video efficiently in Avid
Post timely updates on WBZ.com, CBS News Boston streaming, and social media
Collaborate closely with assignment editors, producers, and photographers
Commit unwaveringly to accuracy, fairness, and high ethical standards
Qualification
Required
Minimum 3 years of on-air reporting/MSJ experience in a medium-to-large market
Proven field shooting and editing skills
Strong news judgment, deadline discipline, and ability to work independently
Valid driver's license
Availability for early mornings, nights, weekends, and holidays
Willingness to join SAG-AFTRA as required
