Responsibilities

Performs a variety of duties dealing primarily with receipt, storage, inventory, issuance and delivery of materials from the general supply room

Qualification

Computerized inventory systemTyping speed 35 WPMHospital suppliesNumerical aptitudeForklift operationCommunication skills

Required

High school graduate or GED equivalent. Aptitude with numbers important
Visual, auditory, and speech acuity requisite to verbal and written communication with hospital staff and vendors and manufacturers' representatives
Computer experience preferred and ability to accurately type at least 35 words per minute is required
Work requires light (exerting/lifting up to 20 pounds occasionally, up to 10 pounds frequently, or a negligible amount constantly) to heavy (exerting/lifting up to 100 pounds occasionally, up to 50 pounds frequently and 20 pounds constantly) lifting in moving and storing supplies
Be able to operate a forklift/bobcat for the purpose of unloading freight

Preferred

Prefer experience related to hospital supplies -- particularly centralized Materials management and computerized inventory system
