Responsibilities
Lead and support all phases of litigation, including pre-suit investigation, case strategy, and risk assessment
Prepare high-quality pleadings, motions, briefs, and discovery requests/responses
Represent clients in hearings, mediations, and depositions; assist senior counsel in trial or arbitration proceedings
Conduct in-depth legal research and analysis on complex statutory and regulatory issues
Maintain proactive communication with clients, providing regular updates and strategic legal advice
Qualification
Required
2–3 years of civil litigation experience, preferably within a law firm setting
Juris Doctor (J.D.) from an accredited law school
Active member in good standing of the North Carolina State Bar
Exceptional legal writing and analytical skills
Proficiency with Westlaw/LexisNexis and modern document management systems
A self-starter with a team-oriented mindset who thrives in a fast-paced, collaborative environment
