Fidelity Bank is seeking a Senior Frontend Engineer-Angular to join their High Income and Alternatives Technology team. The role involves developing quality software components for Portfolio Managers and Analysts, along with defining and implementing development practices across multiple teams.

Responsibilities

Responsible for the development of quality software components that are used by Portfolio Managers, and Analysts in managing of over $100 Billion in High Yield, Credit Alternatives, and Systematic Investment Research Funds

Engage, shape, and productively contribute to Alphabet, our flagship portfolio construction platform

Help define and implement development practices, standards, and strategies across multiple teams

Qualification

Required

Bachelor's degree (or higher) computational field such as Computer Science, Statistics, or Applied Mathematics

Full-stack software development knowledge preferably with Angular, Java, Spring Boot, and SQL

Experience with testing, including writing automated unit, integration, and end-to-end tests on both front and backend

Experience with deploying and supporting application and systems in a production environment

Ability to effectively communicate with multiple stakeholders including researchers, portfolio managers, and technology partners

Favor Agile development practices that prioritize the incremental delivery of working software and respond well to change in requirement scope

Ability to accept and adapt to scope changes incorporating it seamlessly

Preferred

Prior development experience in investment management domain will be a strong plus

Understanding of Fixed Income and Equity instruments, security analytics, investment workflow, alternatives, and functioning of bond markets is a significant plus

Experience with AWS cloud environment development and deployment is a plus

Kubernetes/EKS deployment and operations management exposure is a plus

Experience with Kafka is a plus

Progress towards CFA program certification is a significant plus
