They are seeking a Summer Intern for their Underwriting Services division to assist with projects that contribute to the company's underwriting success while gaining valuable industry experience through shadowing and networking opportunities.

Responsibilities
Creation, review, and/or editing of underwriting training material
Review and consolidation of underwriting authority special grants to increase efficiency in authority granting process
Review and migration of individual underwriting guideline documentation into a current, consolidated template, encouraging ease of use and clarity
Attend business meetings with Product line officers, & individual underwriting teams
Gain understanding of underwriting positions by shadowing underwriters and underwriting assistants
Qualification
Required
A college Junior or Senior who is pursuing a business related major
Achievement of a 3.0 or higher-grade point average
Someone who has the ability to work 30 hours per week at our York office location, starting May 18, 2026 to Aug 7, 2026
Self-motivated individual eager to learn and interpret new information
Preferred
Someone who is looking for a career in Insurance
