Responsibilities

Serve as Program Lead for the Infant & Early Childhood Mental Health Initiative (iECMH), maintaining responsibility for project oversight, deliverables, and staff
Supervise iECMH Educational Resource Coaches, providing guidance, professional development support and oversight
Plan, delegate, and coordinate team tasks to ensure effective project execution
Develop program-specific policies and procedures
Work closely with partner projects to ensure seamless continuity of services and policies/procedures
Develop and manage program budgets, ensuring compliance and efficient resource use
Oversee grant reporting and prepare renewal applications, ensuring accuracy, timeliness, and alignment with funding requirements
Maintain thorough and accurate documentation of all activities, including coaching visits, training sessions, and technical assistance
Develop and deliver in-person and virtual training sessions for diverse stakeholders on early childhood mental health and social-emotional learning
Synthesize multiple viewpoints, make thoughtful decisions, and engage the team by clearly explaining the rationale to ensure understanding and shared commitment
Navigate complex situations with professional composure while maintaining strong collaborative relationships
Maintain up-to-date knowledge of best practices, state mandates, and emerging trends in early childhood mental health and education in Missouri
Conduct research on evidence-based practices to support training and inform project development and implementation
Collaborate with the Early Childhood Domain Director and program leads to identify and pursue opportunities for diversifying funding streams
As needed, provide on-site consultation and coaching to early childhood programs, focused on social-emotional learning within a Multi-Tiered System of Support (MTSS) framework
Support implementation of Tier 1 (universal supports), Tier 2 (targeted supports), and Tier 3 (individualized intensive interventions)

Required

A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and 3 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary

Preferred

Master's degree in Early Childhood Education, Social Work, Program Management, or other related field
State certification or licensure in education, mental health, or a related field
3 or more years of experience in early childhood education settings with a focus on social/emotional wellness preferred
Experience with evidence-based frameworks such as the Pyramid Model, Conscious Discipline, trauma-informed care, etc
