Product & Research Analyst
The Center for the Study of Services (CSS) is a leader in healthcare survey research, based in Washington, DC. The Product & Research Analyst supports health plan comparison tools and takes primary responsibility for executing key project-related tasks, ensuring accurate and actionable results for consumers.

Responsibilities
Support health plan comparison tools and consumer-facing information products
Execute key project-related tasks that support services provided to partner organizations
Coordinate closely with team members and outside stakeholders to maintain project timelines and ensure results are accurate
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's degree that demonstrates analytical ability, subject matter experience, and/or organizational ability
Two years of relevant work experience (preferred)
Familiarity with Agile methodologies for identifying priorities, developing software, and gathering feedback
An interest in technology products and markets, especially in healthcare
Ability to understand and empathize with people from diverse backgrounds
Understanding of general statistics, algebraic logic, and ability to interpret data
Fundamental technical skills in Microsoft Excel
Willingness to engage in all aspects of product and data analysis, testing, data cleaning, and delivery
Strong writing, interpersonal, and communication skills
Ability to become proficient in writing SQL queries and procedures
Experience with project management software (JIRA or similar)
Experience with Tableau, Power BI, or other data visualization software
Experience analyzing products and markets, especially health-related products
Preferred
Two years of relevant work experience (preferred)
Product development and user experience skills, such as exposure to user interviews and interaction with designers (preferred)
Experience and interest in simplification of complex results for non-technical audiences
Understanding of different health insurance products and markets in the US (preferred)
Working knowledge of health insurance plan design, including plan benefits, formulary, and provider networks (preferred)
