Responsibilities
Serve as lead civil engineer‑of‑record for oil & gas design packages—developing civil/structural specifications and drawings
Prepare technical designs with a multidiscipline team, meeting established design criteria, industry codes, environmental guidelines, client specs, and QA program standards
Engineer, design, and certify foundations for large equipment, access platforms, pipe supports, roads, and related civil works (primary function)
Conduct field verification, condition assessments, and inspections to inform/design validation
Review submittals & RFIs, evaluate vendor proposals, assist with cost estimates, and identify discrepancies or code violations
Join weekly client meetings to report status, schedule, risks, and resolve issues
Qualification
Required
Master's in Civil/Structural + 10 years OR Bachelor's in Civil + 15 years
Active PE licensure/registration
Ability to pass a background check required for PIV badging; valid driver's license
Proficiency in AutoCAD, Civil 3D, Revit, Bluebeam, and Microsoft 365 (SharePoint, Teams, Word, Outlook, Excel)
Strong organization, technical rigor, and a proactive, problem‑solving mindset
Physical ability to work in all weather conditions and safely navigate typical civil construction environments (PPE, ladders/scaffolding, long walks, lifting materials, driving site utility vehicles)
Preferred
Oil & gas engineering/design experience
