Responsibilities
Manage and oversee the preparation and accuracy of property financial statements by verifying, allocating, and posting all relevant financial transactions
Perform full-charge bookkeeping duties for a portfolio of operating facilities, including detailed financial reviews to ensure compliance and accuracy
Process and issue checks in a timely manner, ensuring all payments are properly authorized and documented
Prepare, review, and file Sales and Use Tax returns in accordance with state and local regulations, maintaining compliance and avoiding penalties
Serve as a key point of contact by interacting regularly with operating facility managers and third-party property owners to resolve financial inquiries and provide support
Reconcile cash and other balance sheet accounts
Qualification
Required
Proficient in Quickbooks Accounting Software and Microsoft Excel
Attention to details and accuracy of work
Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively collaborate with team members, management, and external partners
Ability to multitask efficiently and prioritize work
Must be able to work independently with minimal supervision
Must be deadline oriented and organized
Must be Customer Service oriented
2 – 5 years experience in similar position
Accounting Degree or relevant Accounting experience - Required
Preferred
Experience with property management company - Preferred
