In this role, you will be responsible for disassembling and reassembling vehicles according to Tesla's specifications, making it an ideal entry point for those with mechanical or automotive repair experience.

Responsibilities
Disassemble vehicles part by part to identify repair needs and prepare for bodywork
Document & organize parts: take photos, label, and store components for accurate reassembly
Protect and store reusable parts while preparing new or replacement parts for installation
Reassemble vehicles with precision once repairs are complete, ensuring OEM standards are met
Collaborate with estimators and technicians to ensure repair plans align with manufacturer procedures
Maintain safety and organization by keeping your workspace clean and following all shop protocols
Qualification
Required
Proven experience as an automotive mechanic or technician, ideally in a dealership, collision center, or EV repair facility
Proficiency in diagnosing and repairing mechanical, electrical, and structural systems
Strong commitment to delivering high-quality workmanship and precise repairs
Ability to thrive in a fast-paced, technology-driven environment while maintaining accuracy
Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. and perform hands-on work in a shop environment
Ability to communicate both verbally and in writing, using virtual meeting and communication tools such as email, Google Meet, and Slack
Ability to lift and carry up to 15 pounds, if required
Preferred
Tesla or EV-specific training is a plus, but not required (training provided)
