Accounting Analyst

Responsibilities
Prepares and records asset, liability, revenue, and expense entries by compiling and analyzing account information
Prepare monthly close entries related to but not limited to intercompany and accruals
Maintain and reconcile balance sheet and general ledger accounts on a monthly basis
Oversees lease accounting, review lease accounting data, classification and schedules
Track capital expenditures to ensure accuracy of monthly and quarterly forecasting
Document key accounting policies and internal control processes to maintain compliance with generally accepted audit standards and parent company’s internal audit department
Act as a liaison between RCON and the parent company accounting department to ensure monthly and annual reporting is reconciled
Prepare and review quarterly and annual audit documentation for internal and external auditors
Contribute to the development of new or amended accounting systems, programs, and procedures
Preparation of financial statements, footnotes and support for review/audit by auditors
Perform both routine and ad hoc detailed analytical reviews and reports
Qualification
Required
Bachelor's Degree in Accounting or Finance
3 years of related experience
Demonstrates strong technical accounting skills and knowledge of Generally Accepted Accounting Principles (GAAP)
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, particularly Excel
Strong communication skills, both written and verbal
High level of initiative with an ability to work independently
Preferred
(CPA) Certified Public Accountant or CPA candidate preferred
