The intern will be involved in foundation design, subsurface exploration, and construction engineering, contributing to various infrastructure projects.

Foundation design, subsurface exploration, and construction engineering
Repair geotechnical reports and specifications
Review and check design calculations
Qualification
Required
Pursuing a Master's degree or higher in Geotechnical Engineering or a related degree
Knowledge and experience working with Microsoft Word and Excel
Strong work ethic - willing to do what it takes to get the job done
Good written and verbal communication skills
Be willing to fully participate in job assignments at the job site, district office or department to which the intern is assigned
Regular, reliable attendance
Work productively and meet deadlines timely
Communicate and interact effectively and professionally with supervisors, employees, and others individually or in a team environment
Perform work safely and effectively. Understand and follow oral and written instructions, including warning signs, equipment use, and other policies
Work during normal operating hours to organize and complete work within given deadlines. Work overtime and weekends as required
May work at various different locations and conditions may vary
