As a Donation Support Services Coordinator, you'll be part of a 24/7 response team, serving as the first line of communication between hospitals, donor families, and clinical partners, while ensuring that the gift of donation reaches those in need with compassion and precision.

Responsibilities
Evaluating referrals for potential donors in real time
Communicating with donor families through the donation process by compassionately discussing tissue and eye donation opportunities, obtaining consent, and ensuring accurate documentation
Coordinating logistics for organ, tissue, and eye donations
Collaborating with clinical teams to support time-sensitive decision-making
Communicating with compassion, clarity, and precision
Documenting and tracking critical information in fast-paced environments
Qualification
Required
High School Diploma, or equivalent required
Experience working in a call center environment, dispatch such as EMS, social work, nursing, or medical assistant roles are highly desirable
Requires excellent typing and data entry skills
Ability to multi-task
Experience using multi-line phone systems
Intermediate medical terminology specific to critical care healthcare
Preferred
Associates degree, medical-related certification, or some post-secondary education strongly preferred
Some medical knowledge or background in healthcare, EMS, or a related field (preferred)
Medical Assistant, LPN, or similar preferred
Comfort working overnight shifts, weekends, and holidays as needed
A passion for serving others - even during life's most difficult moments
Excellent communication and critical thinking skills
