Responsibilities
Knows and understands all safety rules and precautions necessary for working in and about a manufacturing environment
Package, crate, or load items to ensure safe arrival and capacity loading
Packages parts using all types of crating and packaging materials, metal bands, covering, or other methods to secure and protect parts in shipment and for weighing trucks of items as required
Constantly check each load being made to assure that the job is complete
Expedite completion of work in process to meet production schedules
Assist with inventory counts as required
Maintains continuous improvement practices in work area
May be assigned other projects or duties as designated by the Team Leader
Qualification
Required
Must be 18 years old to apply
Ability to lift up to 100 pounds on a continual basis above shoulder height and below the waist (bags of mortar weigh 80 lbs)
Ability to work in the outdoor yard during all-weather elements, year-round- this position requires working both inside and outside the warehouse
Ability to read orders and pick tickets
Ability to work independently and with a team
Ability to reach, sit, stand, walk, stoop, kneel, crouch, crawl

Prior Forklift Experience Preferred
Experience with forklift preventive maintenance programs a plus
Prior experience in Manufacturing industry preferred
