Responsibilities

Partner with Distributor, collaborating and ensuring product knowledge by in person and phone communication
Sell incremental volume for display and obtain maximum support for promoted products
Sell promotional surveys for displays
Sell additional products based on opportunities observed
Collaborates with targeted store-level/district-level retail operations personnel to create and execute business reviews that drive volume
Leads expenditure of financial resources in a fiscally responsible manner
Ensures compliance to pricing guidelines at retail level
Reports competitive price changes and promotional support and resolves competitive pricing issues
Identify and correct voids and ensure new items are available
Merchandise products to obtain schematic compliance, pack out shelves, rotate products, handle unsellable product and resolve systemic problems related to out-of-stocks and voids
Develops and maintains proper relations with department/store level personnel within territory in order maximize sales results
Communicates market insights from the retail level to management

Required

High School Diploma or GED required
Must possess a valid Driver's License in good standing
Must have excellent customer service and organizational skills, as well as attention to detail
Must possess strong communication (oral and written), selling and analytical skills
Demonstrated proficiency in MS Office (Excel/Word/Outlook) and other POS systems
Ability to analyze financial, inventory, retail conditions and/or other data to utilize appropriate selling techniques
Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and ability to meet tight deadlines
Must be willing and able to travel

Preferred

Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Marketing, Psychology or in a related field
2+ years of retail sales, merchandising or retail management experience of CPG products
