Civil Engineering
Responsibilities
Prepares engineering and construction drawings from sketches or verbal instructions, utilizing manual or computer-assisted drafting/design techniques
Prepares drawings from markups, charts, and tables
Performs related fundamental engineering support tasks such as updating computer lists, filing prints, distributing drawings, making simple calculations, proofreading reports, etc
May utilize information from vendor prints, catalogs, technical manuals, etc
Supports field assignments as required
Qualification
Required
Associate's degree or high school graduate with vocational-tech or trade school training in basic drafting technology (or equivalent working knowledge/experience)
Approximately 5+ years of experience in a design or drafting role
Working knowledge of fundamental CADD/drafting software
Preferred
Experience in civil engineering, water and wastewater, architecture, or facility design
