Responsibilities
Assist the Job Captain in producing construction documents from cartoon set to CD deliverables
Prepare general project data sheets and fully dimension all plans
Note and reference all materials and products throughout the drawing set
Draft undeveloped building and wall sections and assemble project details
Apply applicable code requirements and assist with back check
Support plan check corrections and coordinate with consultants
Transfer hand-sketched unit floor plans and elevations into Revit
Assist the PM or Job Captain during construction (issue ASIs, respond to RFIs, review shop drawings)
Create graphics, 3D models, presentations, and design studies to support Senior Designers
Leverage SketchUp, Revit, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop to present project work
Qualification
Required
3–8 years of architectural experience with multi-family projects
Minimum 3–5 years of Revit experience with strong production capabilities
Working knowledge of building construction Types I, III, and V
Excellent organizational skills with ability to prioritize and multi-task
Proficiency with SketchUp, Revit, Illustrator, InDesign, and Photoshop
Strong understanding of code application and plan check/back check processes
Ability to prepare complete, well-documented drawing sets and coordinate with consultants
Preferred
Bachelor's Degree in Architecture preferred; on track to be licensed
