Responsibilities

Own end-to-end new business opportunities, from lead generation to deal closure
Personally source, shape, and properly qualify new business opportunities
Manage complex sales cycles from opportunity identification to contract closure across multiple opportunities
Develop, maintain, and execute account plans for national security clients and prospects
Present business solutions at the executive level and promote our client's offerings across the Federal/national security marketplace
Define and present compelling, customized value propositions and demonstrate our client's technology and solutions to prospects and clients
Use Salesforce to manage all aspects of prospecting, opportunity management, forecasting, client communications, contacts, activities, and tasks

Required

U.S. Citizenship is required
Bachelor's degree
Experience closing 7-figure accounts
5-10+ years of experience working within the national defense/defense technology ecosystem. You MUST have familiarity within the Pentagon and understand on day 1 how to navigate the DoD to find the decision makers you need to persuade to purchase the clients' technology
3+ years of experience meeting and exceeding revenue goals in a technology sales environment, with a proven ability to close large and complex deals
Demonstrated success in new account development
Exceptional verbal and written communication skills
A strong work ethic, strategic mindset, and dedication to doing what's best for the business
Ability to adapt to a fast-paced and evolving environment
Current possession of a U.S. security clearance or the ability to obtain one with sponsorship
Experience in or exposure to the nuances of a startup or entrepreneurial environment
Familiarity with the DoD Planning, Programming, Budgeting, and Execution (PPBE) processes, especially budgeting, acquisition, and procurement
Proficiency with Salesforce CRM
